On December 4 the 4th International Conference "Smart Insurance" will take place

In 2014 a number of Russian insurance companies (Intouch, «Vazhno. Novoe Strahovanie», Uralsib Insurance Company and AlfaInsurance) launched successful pilot projects on Smart Insurance. In particular, they started installing navigation and communication equipment to collect information about insurant driving styles in exchange for discounts and bonuses. Their experience showed that this service was really in demand among motorists.

Results of the 5th International School on Satellite Navigation

On September 14-24, 2015 the 5th International School on Satellite Navigation, aimed at the popularization of GLONASS modern opportunities, development of navigation services and practical application of geo-information technologies, took place in Moscow. The organizer was JSC Russian Space Systems (RSS, a part of URSC) responsible for the creation and further development of the Russian Global Navigation Satellite System GLONASS. Roscosmos, Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK), Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (PFUR) and LLC ProfConferences assisted in holding the 5th School.

Program of the 5th International School on Satellite Navigation is approved

The organizing committee has approved the program of the 5th International School on Satellite Navigation. The training program is a short-term refresher course that is designed for specialists in the field of developing, producing and using equipment and applications based on global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), teachers, postgraduates and students of related higher education institutions.
