In Moscow on November 8, 2012, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel there took place the 1^st International Conference “Smart Insurance”. The plenary session was opened by the welcoming address of the Executive Director of Professional Conferences Valentina Kartashova.

     During the plenary session moderated by Director of Business Development, the Companies Group “Caesar Satellite”, 7 reports were presented. 14 reports more on the development of the smart insurance technologies and services were heard during the section sessions.

     The main purpose of the conference was exchange of the international and Russian experience, presentation of the new products, and examination of the new offers in the field of insurance telematics.

     Attendees of the conference were Russian insurance companies, foreign players of the insurance market, motorcar manufactures, developers and producers of telematic equipment, developers of the software to deliver the smart insurance services.

     According to the attendees the conference had made an appreciable contribution to the development of the smart insurance services and technologies. The attendees got an opportunity not only to share their opinions on the most important issues concerning the market of insurance services in Russia and to receive topical information on the offers available in the market but to learn the trends of the foreign markets of the smart insurance services.

     Over 100 specialists from Russia, Italy and Germany took part in the conference.
