A master-class from Manfred Kets de Vries

On October 05, 2012, in Moscow, Manfred Kets de Vries held a closed discussion club for the employees of OJSC “Sberbank”. The assistance to organize the event was given by Professional Conferences.
 
Manfred Kets de Vries (b. in 1942) is a Dutch psychoanalyst, an academic economist in the field of management, a professor in human resource management and leader skill development, works at the business school INSEAD in Fontainebleau. Manfred Kets de Vries carries out his own researches in the leadership phenomenon and regularly works as a consultant with big international companies.
 
Manfred Kets de Vries is the author and a co-author of more than 250 published scientific works, articles and chapters in the books devoted leadership and leadership psychology. In the researches of de Vries the leadership phenomenon is considered from the viewpoint of both psychoanalysis and the organization structure of a company. By using the materials from his psychoanalytic and consulting practice de Vries focuses on the principles of leadership development, the proper formation of the company management policy and on the analysis of the organization structure dynamics.
 
At the moment Manfred Kets de Vries holds a position of professor and head of the leadership development sub-department and also is Director of the Global Center for Leadership Development of the International Business School INSEAD. Before this he worked as a professor of McGill University, the Higher School of Economic Researches in Montreal and Harvard Business School. He works as a lector and a consultant in more than 40 countries.
