Today the topic of smart insurance is current and important. Any insurance company wants to secure itself from fraud, and any motorist wants to pay less for an insurance policy. The solution to these issues already exists, but in Russia it is developing not so actively so far, comparing to western countries. The 3d International Conference “Smart Insurance” is the platform that will allow all market players to get together, to discuss issues and to find solutions of the successful and widespread introduction of smart insurance services in Russia. That is why the conference attracts bigger and bigger number of large players. The Russian Union of Auto Insurers has confirmed that the event would be held under its aegis.  

The Russian Association of Motor Insurers (RAMI) is a non-profit organization being the single All-Russia professional association, designed for the mandatory membership of auto insurers executing the Compulsory Insurance of the Civil Liability of Vehicle Owners (OSAGO). The Association operates in accordance with the Federal Law #40-FZ dated 25.04.2002 «On the Compulsory Insurance of the Civil Liability of Vehicle Owners».

Since January 1, 2012 RAMI has been playing the key role in implementing the Federal Law #170-FZ «On the Technical Inspection of Vehicles and Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation».

Today 101 insurance companies are members of RAMI.
