Conclusions of the seminar «Management of a portfolio of projects in the Bank. Best international practices»

On September 19-22, 2013 at the Sberbank Training Center, with the assistance of Professional Conferences, there was the seminar “Banking Project Portfolio Management. Best International Practices”. The main audience of the seminar was top managers of Sberbank.

The author of the seminar Eli Schagenheim is an international expert in the field of the Theory of Constraints (ТОС), as well as a specialist in TOC relations with other management theories. He used to be a partner in the A.Y. Goldratt Institute and currently is one of the directors in Goldratt Schools, a group involved in spreading the TOC knowledge.

Eli Schagenheim conducts seminars and trainings for managers in many countries including Russia. He is also the president of Elyakim Management Systems, Ltd. (Israel) and the partner of Goal Systems International (USA). He is the author of such books as: "Management Dilemmas", "Necessary but not Sufficient", "Manufacturing at Warp Speed: Optimizing Supply Chain Financial Performance ", "Management Dilemmas: The Theory of Constraints Approach to Problem Identification and Solutions".

At his trainings Eli Schagenheim actively uses software developed by him, primarily the MICSS Simulator (Management Interactive Case Study Simulator) modeling manufacture management.  His other program PM-Sim (Project Management Simulator) allows evaluating, testing and comparing traditional PERT/CPM and Critical Chain schedules on the same real-world projects. Eli Schragenheim holds an MBA from Tel-Aviv University and B.Sc in Mathematics and Physics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
