RESULTS OF THE CONFERENCE “THE MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AS A WAY TO ENHANCE THE EFFICIENCY AND SAFETY OF USING THE MOTOR TRANSPORT OF COMMERCIAL AND MUNICIPAL ENTERPRISES”
RESULTS OF THE CONFERENCE “THE MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AS A WAY TO ENHANCE THE EFFICIENCY AND SAFETY OF USING THE MOTOR TRANSPORT OF COMMERCIAL AND MUNICIPAL ENTERPRISES”
On May 14, 2012, in Moscow at the all-Russia Exhibition Centre there took place the conference “The Monitoring and Management Systems as a Way to Enhance the Efficiency and Safety of Using the Motor Transport of Commercial and Municipal Enterprises”. The event took place in the framework of the head annual event “The Satellite Navigation Forum” and the business program of 6-th Russian specialized exhibition on the electronics and information technologies for transport and transport communications “Electronics-Transport 2012”.
The main purpose of the conference was to discuss topical problems and advanced achievements in the field of creation, introduction and operation of the systems for the monitoring and management of motor transport of the companies working in various branches of the Russian economy, and also municipal transport meeting various needs of the population, including passenger transport, emergency response services and housing and communal services. A special attention at the conferences was given to the use of satellite (first of all, domestic) navigation technologies and the equipment.
The moderator of conference Platon Mironov – the project head of OJSC “NIS” – made a report on a theme “ASDU-NGPT. The Automated System of Dispatching Management of Ground Urban Passenger Transport of Moscow on the Basis of GLONASS”. In his report Platon Mironov mentioned the main problems connected with the quality of the NGPT performance, called the reasons that didn’t let to apply similar technical solutions available in the world practice, presented the statues justifying carrying out the works. The offered complex of actions to create the system was considered in the report, the used hardware solutions were described, the ASDU-NGPT architecture developed by OJSC “NIS”, the structure of the system and the function of the subsystems were presented.
A series of reports was opened by Paul Kazakov – the head of the sector of the contacts with the innovative structures of the Russian corporation of space-rocket instrument making and information systems (OJSC “Russian Space Systems”) with the report “The possibilities of the GLONASS Educational Center for Training Experts in Motor Transport Monitoring”. He said that satellite technologies are one of the main tools for the modernization of the transport industry. Their mass application is planned, first of all, in the sphere of transport navigation and monitoring. However the current system of professional training in the country is not ready to provide this area with experts. OJSC “Russian Space Systems” – the head organization in the GLONASS system and the use of the earth remote sensing data – is creating a system of advance target training of experts in the application of satellite technologies. A key element of this system is the GLONASS educational center established and equipped in the framework of the Federal Target Program “Global Navigation System”. The training center is already now ready to provide continuous training of experts in monitoring transport in line with the tendencies of the transport industry development.
The company “Kvarta Technologies” with its partners, the company “AXONIM Devices” and the company “Advanced Self-Service Systems” (Companies Group “IT”) made the common report “The Windows Embedded Platform for the Creation of Transport Solutions. On The Basis of the Example of The Solutions from Companies “IT” and “AXONIM Devices”. In the report the Windows Embedded component platform allowing on a tight timetable to create ruggedized and reliable solutions of the widest proposes – from controllers and video surveillance cameras to payment stalls and information panels with the support of existing applications was presented.
The head of the Dangerous and Special Cargoes Transportations Monitoring Systems Department at the Companies Group “М2М telematics” – Sergey Poltoratsky in his report “The Creation of Passengers and Dangerous Cargoes Transportations Remote Control Systems With the Use of the GLONASS Technologies” considered topical issues of the use of the GLONASS/GPS navigation technologies, and also the problem issues of use of GLONASS/GPS navigation technologies in interests of the automation of control-supervising functions of regional executive authorities and subdepartments and Rostransnadzor in the sphere of dangerous cargoes and passengers transportations by motor transport.
In the framework of the separate report “Infinity Taxi X – an Innovative Solution for the Automation of Taxi Services”, Maxim Romashin – Head of the company “IntelTelecom Soft” – told about a new version of the industry solution for automation of dispatching taxi and transport companies services “Infinity Taxi X”.
Representatives of state departments, heads and experts of transport organizations, representatives of design and research transport organizations of the Russian Federation took part in the conference.
