THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE OF THE VI INTERNATIONAL SATELLITE NAVIGATION FORUM HAS CHANGED THE FORMAT OF THE FORUM PROGRAM.
On the results of the session of the Organizing Committee of the VI International Satellite Navigation Forum there were made changes to the format of the first day of the event. On the close of the plenary session all the participants are invited to round tables which will be devoted to the most actual questions connected with the development of the navigation-information services market.
During the round tables the representatives of state and regulatory bodies, leading Russian and foreign companies and scientific institutes will discuss the problems which the navigation technologies and services market faces with, will share a competent opinion on the prospects of the Russian market and the world tendencies of the development of navigation-information services for the mass and corporate user.
There will be questions connected with the creation of modern maps and GIS, possible directions of the development of navigation applications and LBS-services, the future of automobile navigation discussed. There will be questions connected with the role of the state in the development of the navigation systems and services market, problems and tendencies of the development of the legislation in this area considered.
On results of the discussion the participants of the round tables will formulate the main problems slowing down the development of the navigation systems and services market and will outline possible directions for the solution of these problems.
