Smart Insurance is Russian implementation of the Pay-As-You-Drive approach. The smart insurance service advantage is that the motorists are provided with individual auto insurance tariffs depending on their driving styles and vehicle mileage. The driving quality data is collected for a certain period of time by means of a special navigation and communication device installed in a car. Smart Insurance helps motorists not only significantly save money while subscribing to KASKO policy, but also solve controversial issues at the occurrence of an insured accident. The insurance companies, in their turn, receive the opportunity to “profile” their customer databases and to develop more targeted tariff plans. The international Conference on Smart Insurance is annually held in Moscow. This year it had to take place on December 4, but for a variety of reasons the organizing committee has moved it to December 7! The conference venue is the World Trade Center (WTC).

The goal of the conference is to discuss important issues and proposals for the successful and widespread introduction of smart insurance services in Russia.

The conference will cover examples of international and Russian practices of applying telematics systems in smart insurance programs, analyze the impact of accident emergency response systems on forming the market, as well as will analyze development prospects of insurance telematics and its new opportunities.
